Southward bound

Tonight shortly before midnight tonight (Saturday) I embark on a four-day, five-night voyage to the southernmost extent of South America: Tierra del Fuego, or Land of Fire. I assume there are many volcanoes here (hence the name), but I plan to mostly do some hiking in the nearby (well, 5 hrs by bus from Punta Arenas) Torres del Paine National Park. Will be back on Thursday!

Brad...long time! Last time, we were all enjoying free meals and having a merry ol' time! Great to see you are in Chile. I lived in Santiago for four months in Las Condes when I was in college. I'm so jealous that you are there now!!!
